From initial sketch design to project documentation through to project completion, Mark has experienced it all in his 16 years of industry experience since graduating. Clients feel comfortable and secure with Mark's approach and even more so with the results he produces.

Mark enjoys working on a diverse range of projects including school, government, commercial work and high-end residential.

Mark also recently refurbished his own Titirangi home into quite the colourful woodland creature. The house has made the cover in publication, and was named a finalist in the National ADNZ Awards.

Working with the environment and capturing the essence of a location is very important in creating a smart design. Tainui Rd is an excellent example of this. Additions were tiptoed around sacred Kauri tree roots. Bold colouring and opening of spaces now welcome in the neighbourhood's creative spirit and provide a space for the residents to enjoy.

My team of 'Marks' at CreativeArch made a painful process pleasant. As we are often reminded, leaky homes are a huge problem in NZ, one we experienced first-hand. My beautiful home and sanctuary was falling down, the reality was a complete rebuild without removing the base structure of the house and affecting our weathertight claim. Mark McLeay and Creative Arch were selected as project architects.

Unlike the exciting adventure of building a new home, ours was a necessity we had to do as soon as possible - every month without tenants was a further drain on the pocket. Creative Arch were selected because of their professionalism, sensitivity to the project, and their ability to listen to and meet our needs. They added value and advised on materials to improve the future protectiveness of the property while taking into account the cost.

Creative Arch worked well with building surveyor, builders, colour consultants, and suppliers; and they negotiated inspection rates with council (without charging us). Updates and invoicing were accurate and timely. Creative Arch have fantastic processes and people, and did an amazing job.

We now have a wonderful new home that was very hard not to move into ourselves. I would and have recommended Creative Arch to others for all architectural work.
