Waka Group Architecture is a Nelson based architectural practice specializing in residential new homes, alterations, fit-outs and light commercial projects.

Keni-Duke has been practicing independently since 2007 and has enjoyed the evolution of his business since then. His design ethos is twofold: respond to the client and site conditions, and employ sound, fundamental principles of architecture.
Waka Group has a relaxed and friendly office located at 'The Bridge Street Collective', on Bridge Street, Nelson. Clients can feel at ease discussing their projects while enjoying the best coffee in town from the Collective Cafe.

I am very fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with Keni-Duke Hetet of Cube Architecture to undertake an extensive renovation of our family home in Motueka. This home was my grandparents, situated on land that has been in our family for generations and it was extremely important to me that I engaged a firm that recognised and celebrated this!
