Profile
Coast Edge Limited set up practice in Kapiti in 2000. We specialise in quality, edgy residential options that recognise the specific site peculiarities and acknowledge that the house extends into the landscape.
Our interest is in practical, sustainable, efficient living to meet all challenges and includes sensible choices with proven products and technology with practical and simple design solutions. All buildings connect to exterior courtyards, decks and verandahs with private spaces suitable for local climate and orientation.
We have been recognised with ADNZ awards in 2004, 2007, 2010 and 2015.
I have nearly 50 years in the construction industry. Prior to setting up practice in Kapiti in 2001,I had been a director at Athfield Architects Ltd after joining them in 1970 and played a major role in numerous projects throughout New Zealand and overseas. This provided an appreciation of good award-winning architecture on both residential and commercial scales.

Client Reviews
We have used the expertise of Graeme for the last twenty years on three different projects. With each of these we have been completely satisfied and our expectations exceeded. Graeme's plans are clear and easy to build from.
One area that constantly impresses us is the ease that the designs can be worked on a piecemeal basis so we could build as our time and budget allowed. Any queries and difficulties are dealt with immediately with seeming ease, unflagging good humour and enthusiasm and we are always left feeling that we have a good rapport.
The work Graeme has done for us has resulted in referrals for his services and these people have also been impressed with his ideas and manner. Graeme's work is wholly satisfying to the site and especially to the eye and we feel privileged to use his services.
