ADNZ is the only professional body that solely represents the interests of New Zealand Architectural Designers. Membership is open to all practising architectural designers and architects who meet the ADNZ membership criteria and requirements. As an ADNZ member you will gain access to:

  • A professional and social network of architectural designers and architects who are based in nine regional branches; as well as a nationwide team of Member Advisors available to support and provide advice on a range of issues.
  • ADNZ website is an excellent tool to get your work in front of the end consumer! Within the site each member has their own individual page and contact listing; access to the Toolbox which offers contract documentation and business templates; and online member chat ensuring you are in daily contact with other members providing the opportunity for the exchange of skill-based information.
  • Media and high profiling as you enjoy the benefits of ADNZ marketing campaigns and the annual Winning Architectural Design magazine. As a member you are also eligible to enter the prestigious ADNZ/Resene Design Awards.
  • Comprehensive Continuing Professional Development. ADNZ ensures you have access to regional and national events, including the annual conference, to gain the required CPD points, as well as keeping you up-to-date with a monthly e-newsletter.
  • Plus, when renewing your license with the DBH, as an ADNZ member all you need to do is indicate your membership as part of the declaration process and voila – no skills maintenance records is required.
