Wellington Branch ADNZ
The Wellington Branch covers Wellington City, Porirua, Kapiti Coast, Horowhenua, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa areas.
The branch was formed in 1982 and has grown substantially to now having approximately 45 members. Members participate in local practice group meetings, monthly branch meetings, joint meetings with the Construction Institutes Forum (a collaboration of professional institutes in the building industry from the Wellington area) and in regional Continuing Professional Development Seminars.
The branch is in regular contact with industry professionals, trade representatives and local councils to ensure members are kept up to date on current issues and trends in the building industry. Members also participate in consultation workshops with Standards NZ and the Dept. of Building and Housing. We are very pleased to have the support of Gib as a branch sponsor, enabling the branch to host more functions for its members.
