ADNZ members are specialists in building design and construction, undertaking residential and commercial projects at all stages in the construction process, from initial design conception to final certification. To be eligible for membership, ADNZ members must hold recognised professional qualifications or relevant experience, undertake compulsory professional development and have their skills assessed to ensure they meet the requirements of the ADNZ Competency Standards. ADNZ members are also bound by the ADNZ Code of Ethics.
In selecting a member of ADNZ, clients can be confident they are engaging an Architectural Designer who will bring professionalism, accountability and integrity to his or her work. ADNZ members are aware that good understanding and communication between the client, the Architectural Designer and the Builder are essential elements of every successful project.
ADNZ members have a substantial creative influence on innovative building design, as demonstrated by the winners of the annual prestigious ADNZ/Resene Design Awards. The awards celebrate innovative design standards and acknowledge the impressive range of work that is being produced by ADNZ members.

Our ADNZ members are located from Pukekohe to Kaitaia with the majority in the greater Auckland area undertaking projects locally, nationally and internationally. Our members provide clients with professional guidance throughout their projects to ensure they receive excellent value for money and outstanding results.

The Auckland/Northland Branch generally meets on the first Thursday of the month with some additional meetings, seminars or social activities throughout the year. Our Branch meetings include factory tours, small practice group meetings in local areas to reduce time and travel which are approving very popular with members. They give you a chance to socialise with other members in your area.
